Whole Herd is CAE, CL, and Johne’s NEGATIVE again April 2024

Our goat addiction started when we decided we wanted to produce our own milk after we moved to our farm back in 2012. We got our first milk goats (LaManchas) from a family member and quickly fell in love with the breed. The LaMancha breed of dairy goats captivated our hearts with their extremely loving personality. Their characters are liken to the perfect combination of a dog, a cat and a milk cow… with some monkey mixed in!  =)

We participate in ADGA’s Performance Programs (Linear Appraisal & Dairy Heard Improvement Registry) and we attend local ADGA shows (within 3 hour drive). We strive to breed a great dairy animal that is hardy, milks great, has low/no mastitis, and shows well.

All the goats are given free-choice orchard grass hay, loose minerals, baking soda, and a large selection of minerals using a buffet set up. Our does are bred each fall for spring kids and we usually have several bottle babies available around March/April. We sell them on a first-come, first-serve basis so contact us about reserving a kid.

Kiki and the two 8-week old doelings, Remember Me and Rainy Day. Even at 8-weeks old, they select the mineral they want! Mineral buffets are working well for our herd.
