We took all our girls (doelings & milkers) to the Dixie Classic Fair show. All did really well and Tempo Kim won Grand Champion & Best in Breed!  Go Kimberly!!

I took both of my bucklings to the Son of A Buck show in Amelia, Virginia. Majenli HH Jericho won Reserve Grand Champion in BOTH rings!  MLRT Caesar placed just behind Jericho in both classes so I am thrilled with both of my boys!!

I shaved my two bucklings for the Son of A Buck Show that will be in Amelia, Virginia in a few weeks. They did so well during the entire process!

Mark Stevens from Capra Gia Genetics AI’d five of my does on September 1, 2017. We trailered the girls to Morgan Star Farm (2.5 hrs away) and I think that drive stressed them a lot. Only 1 doe (Tempo Kim) settled. Next year, we will do our own AI’ing here on the farm.

This is the AI Protocol we use each year:

(the number of days can be shortened/extended if needed)

• Day O give 1 cc of Cystorlyn IM & Implant CIDR
• Day 11: Give 2cc of lutlayse IM at 8am
• Day 12: Give 1.5 cc of PG600 IM at CIDR Pull at 8am. (the time of day is critical and must be the same time each day)
• Day 14: AI Breed at 50-54 hrs (2 days, 6 hrs) & Give 1 cc of Cystorlyn IM.
